Pub companies from across the UK were honoured for their hard work and exceptional operations in
the pub and bar sector’s equivalent of the Oscars, The Publican Awards, which saw companies
celebrated for best practice across a range of areas.
Hosted by Top Gear host Paddy McGuinness in front of 1,500 people at Evolution London, a wide
range of businesses were recognised for outstanding work in the face of challenging circumstances.
Ed Bedington, editor of the Morning Advertiser, which organises the awards, said:
These are very tough awards to win, with finalists being put through a number of rigorous processes
before the winners are selected, and they really do represent the best of the best.
“Staff are brilliant - friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Lovely and spacious, with a stretch tent out the rear and plenty of parking. Clean and tasteful decor. We will return. ”
“Had a family Sunday lunch here - was one of the tastiest and largest Sunday roast dinners we have eaten anywhere. Tasty, well cooked and presented and lots of vegetables. Friendly and efficient staff. Good range of real ales. ”
“Superb service, would thoroughly recommend. ”
“Good range of real ales and also there is a small but excellent wine list. Nice outdoor space for the alfresco dining and inside was very relaxing. ”
