Frequently asked questions
Can we book the Garden Room?
Yes. Our Garden Room is available for private hire for groups of 50+ guests for a non-refundable room hire of £250. This includes exclusive use of the adjoining patio, which overlooks our lovely garden and play area, and is available from 11- 5:00pm and 6:00- 11:00pm. We can usually seat 28 guests comfortably for a meal inside and up to 100 guests for a party.
We do have another lovely area that might work for your event. We have a new large heated umbrella in our back garden with seating for 24. If your party is larger we can also allocate you either 2 or 4 of the adjacent dining pods which seat 6 people each. This area can be reserved for you with no hire fee, however we ask for a £100.00 deposit to secure the area which can be used towards your bill on the day.

What menus and buffets are available?
We have an extensive choice of menus, including Veggie & Vegan and N.G.C.I. (non gluten containing ingredients) available as well as our buffet menus (our Party Menu is available on Sunday lunchtime, 12noon-5pm, when our plated Sunday Roasts and our full menu are also available.)

Can we have a Pizza Party?
Yes, we are happy to open our Pizza Shack for parties of 25 or more.

Is there an outside bar in summer?
Yes! Our outside bar is open during the summer months – fully stocked and selling beer, wine, cocktails and snacks and, if dining alfresco, you can also order food.
Is a room hire or deposit required?
At time of booking your event we ask for a non-refundable room hire of £250 for the Garden Room and a deposit of £100 for our Umbrella & Pod area which will be refunded off your bill on the day.

Can we bring our own food?
No, as we can cater for any requirements you may have.
You can bring your own cake on the day which we are very happy to serve for you.
Can we have music?
Live music is not available in the Garden Room or in the garden as we have licencing restrictions, however, we do have speakers with access for ipods and phones in the Garden Room. Background music is available in the pub, provided by us. All entertainment needs to comply with our licensing regulations. Please respect our neighbours.
Can I have an 18th Birthday Party?
We are happy to be able to provide an amazing space for your big birthday celebrations 21st and up.
